Made 17 recordings. Suddenly got “Memory ERROR” on window. Has not worked since. No advice in the owner manual or online tech support. Computer won’t see it plugged into the USB port. Cannot afford to own.

I bought this to record my choir rehearsals. I am disappointed by the quality of the sound. Had higher expectations.

I’m trying to catalog all the birds that live on our land and their calls are much easier to gather than sightings of them. I don’t need anything fancy but when I play back the song there is a lot of hiss. Perhaps ambient sound… wind, rustling leaves etc. freaks out the mic? If anyone has suggestions or insights about the hiss please let me know.
Downloading the recordings to my Mac is easy (something I couldn’t do with previous recorders) and the sound seems to clear up some when played through the computer. Would like it to be a little bigger or hot pink so it would be more difficult to lose.

I’ve used this for nearly 18 months now, downloaded to Ipod for playback, AWESOME sound quaility!!
Great for very long presentations of about 20 people or less (that’s as large as i’ve tested for). I used it for an 5 day, 8 hour class and got EVERYTHING!!
I only hope it NEVER breaks
