MSI MEGA 536 4GB USB 2.0 MP3 Player / FM Radio / Voice Recorder w 1.8″ LCD Screen

This is my first MP3 player. I’d had experience with my daughter’s iPod and my mother’s thumb drive-sized MP3 player so I didn’t really do alot of detailed research when I bought this. I was excited then I started having issues, then I read what few reviews I could find across the internet and began to think I had gotten a lemon.
I had emailed for a refund when Josh from Deal Barn asked me a couple of questions. Next thing I knew, I was up and running and operating it like I had had it for months instead of hours. I really like this MP3 player! The sound quality is great and, once I got used to the menus and submenus, I really took off. I’ve already filled up the HDD and plan to pick up a basic SD/MMC card to be able to add more.
The only things I found frustrating was the manual on the CD as well as the CD itself. The manual gives a lot of basic info but there is no index or troubleshooting appendex. And the software on the CD is useless. The firmware part of the app on the CD doesn’t even see the device and, maybe it’s because I have Vista, but the Media Player Plug-in doesn’t help anything that I could tell and I had the device hooked before and after I downloaded it.
Despite the lumps and bumps at first, I’m beginning to really enjoy my player. And look forward to hours of music that I never really got into before.

Don’t buy it. It is larger than your cell phone. The thing didn’t work as the software couldn’t recognize its own hard drive. This model is obsolete. I sent it back to the vendor and am awaiting credit back to my card.
